Chloe Corral Announces Commitment

Chloe Corral announces her commitment to the University of Southwest (USW) in Hobbs, NM. Corral heads to Hobbs with two years of eligibility left. The incoming junior had only 18 career at bats at New Mexico Highlands as well as a triple and a double. Corral brings her speed and outfield skills to USW. The 5’ 3” incoming junior from Lovington, NM returns 30 minutes from home. A 4.0 Biology major brings RMAC experience to the NAIA level for the Mustangs. In 2025 the Mustangs hit seven home runs on the season as well as had a .245 batting average and a .304 on base percentage. Corral will bring the bat to help bring both of those averages up. The Mustangs went 13-35 on the season as well as 9-19 in the Red River Athletic Conference on the year. The Cowgirls also swept the Mustangs this season. USW softball very well could play the Cowgirls game in a game where Corral will play her former squad. Corral has a load of untapped potential for USW to use in the two years she has left in her collegiate playing career. Mustangs are major contenders with this addition of Corral alone.

Statement from Jace:

Chloe is a skilled outfielder with great balls skills as well as a great bat and speed. As well as a tremendous work ethic and all Mustang fans should be excited to have her on the squad.
